I really enjoyed this text which provides a nice review of the latest economic and political developments in Afrika from the mid s to the present. Adebayo Adedeji was absolutely relentless in the need for Afrocentricity to cure the harm done by colonialism and the severe droughts and famine of the s--NOT the horrendous structural adjustment programs from the World Bank and IMF.
