Besides police, Nayeem is said to have links with several political leaders belonging to various parties. TDP minister Uma Madhava Reddy came to light prominently, but she dismissed the allegations and asked the government to go for a judicial probe. Sources said in the last one year, Nayeem had started targeting TRS leaders, including some MLAs from Nalgonda district and tried to extort money from them.
